We miss the Witcher, and we miss him a lot. CD Projekt RED is busy right now with Cyberpunk 2077. If you were thinking about whether or not we’ll ever see a new The Witcher game, well, The Witcher 4 is certainly being discussed as a possibility. Anyway, the Geralt of Rivia / The Witcher motion capture actor, Maciej Kwiatkowski, has joined forces with pro artisan armorer Alan Padziński, to try a little real-life Fruit Ninja. Clearly these guys have a major dispute with various fruits, especially watermelons. The two dudes exhibit their sword-fighting skills, in this lovely video below:
Padziński is a HEMA instructor (Historical European Martial Arts) and sword performer, uses a variety of pretty slick moves, in addition to kick-ass armor. The Fruit Witcher has a range sword-fighting videos on his channel. Today he offers his own tribute with cosplaying, special effects, and the guest appearance of Maciej Kwiatkowski – yep, that’s the guy behind all of Geralt’s in-game moves.
According to the YouTube video’s description: “A lone Witcher investigates a monster-infested riverbank… little does he know, how insidious enemy he’s going to encounter.”
Ah, just by watching this beautifully directed and filmed swordplay, it makes me want to dive back into every single quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Anybody else planning on replaying The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? After all, it gives us something to do until they finally complete, Cyberpunk 2077.
Please feel free to discuss CD Projekt’s games further in the comments below.
