Fallout 76’s beta begins rolling out on October 23, 2018 for the Xbox One and the following week on PlayStation 4. However, fans looking to see more of the game before then are in for a treat. According to Bethesda’s Senior VP of Global Marketing and Communications, Pete Hines, fans will soon have “hundreds of hours of gameplay to watch.”
Hines recently addressed this on Twitter, announcing that a media event will result in loads of gameplay footage.
I know a lot of folks are asking about gameplay. Well, I can confirm we are doing an event soon. And we are going to let a lot of people capture a few hours of gameplay doing whatever they want to do. So before long you will have hundreds (!!!) of hours of gameplay to watch.

GameSpot noted that this event is currently happening in West Virginia. Bethesda is allowing the press and media in attendance to explore Fallout 76 in full, while also capturing footage. Previews and impressions are expected to go live in about a week’s time.
Those interested in playing early can still get access to the beta by preordering Fallout 76. Players will be able to carry all progress made during the testing period into the main game, which launches on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 14, 2018.
