On September 25, Capcom is launching a brand new feature in Street Fighter V, called Dojos. With Dojos, assuming they’re willing to put the effort in, players can create and cultivate their own, miniature communities with these customizable, clan-like organizations.
To get the Dojo train rolling, the first thing you have to do is register your account with the Shadaloo C.R.I. website, which is Capcom’s online portal for Street Fighter V. Once you do that, you can create your Dojo and get a free stage in Street Fighter V, which you can customize through the C.R.I. site. Getting new items for your Dojo can happen through meeting various requirements, such as through the Fighting Chance feature or through obtaining higher Dojo Rankings.
If you don’t want to run your own Dojo, you can apply to join one run by another player. Either way, the name of the game aside from having fun and building a community is to raise that ranking. To do that, all you have to do is play Street Fighter V. Playing Arcade, Survival, Extra Battle, Ranked Match, Casual Match, and Battle Lounge will all earn you points that contribute to both your individual ranking and the overall Dojo ranking. Rankings lead to rewards, which of course are nice and public-facing.
While the Dojo feature starts this month, the rankings won’t go into effect until October.
