Publisher No More Robots has announced the first-person RPG Family Man, and it looks like to be a doozy. The game, from developer Broken Bear, is a morality tale in the style of Breaking Bad, but looks like it was ripped right out of Minecraft.
Check out the Family Man announcement trailer here:
Family Man stars a father and husband who works in an ordinary, but boring, office. He suddenly finds himself both out of a job and in debt to the mob. It’s up to you to decide what you need to do to support your family and repay the money. You can earn cash legally, by working at a stifling fast food job, or you can take the easy route and break the law.
Your decisions affect not only you, but those around you. While embracing your darker side can save your family, is it worth betraying their trust? You can either live a soulless, yet honest life, or run wild without worrying about the (potentially disastrous) consequences. Embracing your dark side can be tempting, but it may not be easy to escape from it.
Family Man will be released in 2019 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you’d like to embrace your more sinister side without worrying about the moral consequences, you could always check out the recently-announced Nefarious.
