During a PlayStation Japan livestream event at the Tokyo Game Show 2018, Square Enix showcased some more Kingdom Hearts III gameplay. This time, we get an extensive look at the Toy Story and Frozen worlds.
Check out the gameplay below (09:46 – 33:24):
Towards the end of the presentation (34:00 mark), Square Enix reminded fans that a limited edition Kingdom Hearts III PlayStation 4 Pro and a special themed PS4 Slim will be up for grabs upon the game’s release.
In case you missed it, we were treated to some gameplay and new information yesterday as well. Director Tetsuya Nomura said during a TGS panel that although the upcoming title marks the end of the Xehanort saga, it won’t be the end of the series as he wants to continue telling Sora’s story.
We also learned that the game will feature a secret movie, the implementation of which the developers are still looking into as they want to prevent spoilers. It might be released post launch as downloadable content but nothing is set in stone yet.
Kingdom Hearts III will release worldwide on January 29, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
