With fall commencing and Halloween coming up, Killing Floor 2 is getting a content update! Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade will come to the PlayStation 4 on October 2, 2018.
Similar to 2017’s festive content update, Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade will have a brand new map known as Monster Ball. We’ll likely see a similar lists of features with new weapons, enemies, missions, and limited time items. At PAX West 2018, fans were able to get a tour of this new setting and a glimpse at the update trailer. The rest of us will have to wait a bit longer.
It’s been almost two years since the initial release of this co-op focused shooter, and it’s amazing to see it still getting steady support. From holiday updates and seasonal events to general patches adding new content, the Killing Floor 2 continues to pull fans in.
In addition to having more content for fans, a Killing Floor 2: New Grounds Mapping Contest was recently announced. The contest will feature $50,000 in cash prizes. More details on both this contest and the Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade should appear in the upcoming weeks.
Until then you can enjoy the Killing Floor 2 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
