Following a brief teaser earlier this week, Edmund McMillen has announced that The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the game’s final DLC, and it’s actually the final one this time.
Here’s the announcement straight from the horse’s mouth:
Its official! Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the FINAL (for real this time) DLC for isaac. it will include the amazing Antibirth mod + a ton more content that will make you shit your butts! im working along side @FixItVinh to tweak the mod and make it canon!

According to McMillen, Repentance will be paid DLC because it’s “pretty beefy.” It’ll feature a new soundtrack, new cutscenes, and new story bits alongside “more stuff” and “more poop.” A release date has yet to be announced. The developer is working on remaining boosters that’ll be out on consoles within the next two months.
Repentance will be published by Nicalis and is currently playable at PAX West (Booth 233) alongside The Legend of Bum-bo. The event will continue to run over the weekend (August 31 – September 3, 2018) in Seattle, Washington.
